Speaker: Brian Hoff, Former Manager, Performance Improvement at Barnes-Jewish Hospital
Brian Hoff holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia and a Master of Science degree in Intelligent Manufacturing Systems from the University of Birmingham, England. He has 15 years experience in operations engineering and continuous improvement in manufacturing, healthcare and food service industries.
Brian recently resigned a full time leadership position with Barnes-Jewish Hospital to start a business doing what he calls “neighborhood engineering” applying systems thinking and continuous improvement to social, community everyday life settings. Brian will discuss how we can all apply time-tested, industrial engineering techniques to make neighborhoods better.
